Stamping is my addiction!

So...peer pressure. It's a tough thing to resist. I cracked. My friend, cattycorner, finally got to me. I am posting photos of some of my recent card creations. If it drums up business, fabulous. If it only offers inspiration to others, also fabulous.

Just a few of the personalized ones I have made.

Invitations

This was our Easter 2005 invitation (we host the big family thing...30 - 40 people). Coming soon will be our Christmas Eve party invitation.

Packaging

Here are a few of the ways I decided to package sets (and more samples of cards). Usually 5/6 cards fit nicely in these cellophane bags. All of my sets have matching decorated envelopes as well.

Some sets are too big for cellophane bags so used these larger plastic bags. These were the sets I traded my friend, catty - her blog - (my enabler!) for three handmade knitted teddy bears (I think I got the better end of that deal!). She requested something seasonal, but no words as to not make them holiday specific. I hope these were somewhere in that ballpark.

Bags/Boxes

The following are a couple of ways I created to also package my sets. The "bag" I actually copied from something I saw at a stamp store the other week. I really think I offended the lady at the register who was trying to convince me to sign up for the class to learn how to make it (they had a sample at the register). I looked at it for a few minutes then said I thought it looked simple enough to make so I would probably pass on the class. Yikes. The look on her face was not good. Gulp! Well, sorry, it did look simple enough! Here is my first attempt at it:

I have another way to "tie" it all together on my next one. I will add that picture as soon as I make one.

This is a "box" I came up with when I made baby thank you cards for a friend to give her niece.

Coming soon will be some holiday cards. Haven't gotten all my photos of those taken.

Hope you like these! If you're interested (they don't have to be done exactly like these, I can make pretty much whatever), or know someone who might be interested...just give me a shout via email (see: Email Me! link or it's in my profile). Thanks!

WOW Fan! Those are incredible! I never understood the whole stamping thing (being a quilter & knitter), but now I get it. What beautiful cards - I never imagined it! Thanks for sharing.

P.S. I'm Dagamuffin over at televisionwithoutpity.
